The iconic VW Camper Van has been recreated as a LEGO® Exclusive model.
Let LEGO® take you back to a time when flower power reigned and the open road offered free adventure and exploration with the launch of its striking Volkswagen T1 camper van.
This latest LEGO® exclusive model is a replica of the legendary 1962 T1 Volkswagen Kombi Station Wagon. It is modelled with over 1300 pieces and includes all exterior features that are apparent on the real model including the iconic ‘V’ shaped three-way curved colour split on the front of the vehicle.
The Camper Van has fully functioning doors and windows including the classic ‘Splitscreen’ windscreen synonymous with VW Campers and driver and passenger ‘safari’ windows. A pop-up roof function with textile curtain surrounds marks another example of true attention to detail in the design.
The LEGO® Volkswagen T1 model is as much of a delight to enthusiasts inside with features true to the original including a VW air-cooled flat four cylinder ‘boxed’ engine, plaid textile curtains and the iconic spherical speedometer. Camping interior features include rear bench seats which fold down and transform into a bed, a folding dinette table and a wardrobe complete with a ‘Make LEGO Models, Not War’ T Shirt is visible through the exterior windows
